63-Year-Old Seriously Injured In 2-Vehicle Oceanside Crash
One person suffered severe injures in a two-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened just before noon Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Oceanside. A 63-year-old man operating a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was involved in the collision with a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee being operated by a 58-year-old man, according to Nassau County Police. Duo Sought After Smash-Grab Burglary At Nassau County Business
If you recognize these burglars, police want to hear from you. Nassau County Police are investigating after two men in Oceanside broke into the Star Bazzar Vape and Cigar, located on Long Beach Road, shortly after midnight Friday, Aug. 16. After smashing their way through the front glass door, the masked duo helped themselves to several vape products before taking off on foot. They were last seen heading eastbound on Atlantic Avenue. Suspect Nabbed In 7-Eleven Robbery On Long Island
A suspect was arrested in connection with a robbery at a Long Island 7-Eleven store. The incident happened in Oceanside, at the 7-Eleven on Atlantic Avenue, at around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13. Nassau County Police said a man entered the store and began removing around 20 cigarette boxes from behind the counter. He threatened an employee before leaving without paying. A short time later, officers arrested 33-year-old Anthony Candelaria, of Oceanside, on suspicion of third-degree robbery. He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
