Money Buys Happiness: Here's How Much You Need To Find Joy, Study Says People who think money can’t buy happiness are woefully mistaken, according to a new study. A University of Pennsylvania study recently published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that people who earn $85,000 or more per year are happier than those who earn less.
