Man Busted In Broom Handle Attack During Hudson Valley Incident A man was charged with allegedly assaulting a woman with a broom handle and his fist, causing a head injury, during a domestic dispute in the region. Ulster County resident Harry J. Krom, age 42, of Kerhonkson, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 25, on Two Path Road in Wawarsing. An investigation alleges that Krom repeatedly struck a 45-year-old woman with a broom handle and closed fist.
