A man accused of stealing a car from an Orange County shopping center allegedly did so with the victim's mother still inside the vehicle, whom he struck repeatedly, prosecutors said.
Chester resident Edward Keegan, 34, was arraigned on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Orange County Court on an indictment charging him with two counts of second-degree robbery, second-degree assault, fourth-degree grand larceny, and second-degree unlawful imprisonment, Orange County District Attorney David M. Trio Nabbed For Hudson Valley Home Burglaries, Police Say
Three men were apprehended by police in the Hudson Valley shortly after allegedly committing home burglaries.
The incident occurred in Orange County around 7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, on Continental Drive in New Windsor.
The men were identified as Queens residents Jamez Torres Tinoco, age 41; Diego Hernandez-Corba, age 29, and Julian Cortes Cacamelo, age 23, after the homeowner called police to say he spotted the men on his home surveillance cameras attempting to enter his home, said Chief Daniel Valeri, of the New Windsor Police.

Man Sentenced To Prison After Installing Hidden Camera In Area Woman's Bathroom
A 48-year-old man has been sentenced to one to three years in prison for spying on an area woman by installing a hidden camera in her bathroom.
Joseph Krenicky, 48, of Glenwood, New Jersey, was sentenced, Tuesday, Feb. 18, for the incident that took place in the Town of Chester, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.
At the time Krenicky pleaded guilty he admitted that in August 2019, he was hired by the woman to perform electrical work at her home.
