17-Year-Old Charged With DWI After Crash That Destroyed Historic House In Hudson Valley A 17-year-old Hudson Valley resident has been arrested for alleged DWI after destroying a much-loved historic house when his vehicle slammed into it, causing a massive fire. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 3 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 22 in the Hughsonville hamlet in the town of Wappinger. New York State troopers discovered the crash and the fire after hearing what sounded like a loud crash while on patrol near Route 9D, said Trooper AJ Hicks. 911 Report Of Erratic Driver Leads To DWI Charge For Highland Falls Woman, 32, In Putnam A Highland Falls woman is facing DWI charges after being reported for erratic driving in Putnam, according to Putnam County Sheriff Robert Langley Jr. The Sheriff reports that Putnam County 911 received a call reporting an erratic driver traveling northbound on State Route 9D in the Town of Philipstown on Friday, June 14 around 4:30 p.m. A deputy responded to the scene and canvassed the area with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Service Unit (ESU).
