Moody's Increases Rockland's Bond Rating To A1 Despite being in the midst of a global pandemic, Moody’s Investigators Service has increased Rockland County’s bond rating. This week, Moody’s announced that Rockland’s rating has been upped from A2 to A1. Covid-19: State Orders Schools To Cancel Spring Recess, Continue Remote Learning School districts in New York have been instructed to forego traditional spring recess and continue distance learning as the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to plague the state. With schools statewide shut down through at least Wednesday, April 15 due to the virus, Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued an executive order requiring that remote teaching continues to that date.
