Man Ejected From Jeep, Then Struck By Truck In Fatal Rockland Crash
A man was killed after being ejected during a crash and then getting hit by a tractor-trailer, state police said.
The crash happened Saturday, June 6 in Rockland County at about 11:20 p.m. on I-87 in the village of Sloatsburg.
An investigation at the scene revealed that Robert H. Harrington, 45, of Waltham, Massachusetts, was operating his 2019 Jeep southbound in the area of mile marker 33.1, when he struck a guardrail, according to police.

Woman Driving Drunk On New TZB Had BAC Twice Legal Limit, Police Say
A New Windsor woman was busted for driving while intoxicated after a blood-alcohol test showed she was driving at more than twice the legal limit, police said.
Portia S. Patterson, 26, was arrested on Sunday, June 2, around 6:30 p.m. when New York State Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on the new Tappan Zee Bridge, state police said.
When police arrived on the scene, they found that Patterson was intoxicated and she was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown, where her blood alcohol content was determined to be a .22 percent, said police.

Four Accused Drug Dealers Caught With Heroin, Crack, Ketamine, Pot In Westchester Stop
Two men and two women accused of drug dealing were allegedly found with crack, heroin, ketamine, and marijuana during a traffic stop in Westchester, state police said.
The stop occurred on I-87 just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 5 in Ardsley. After the stop, troopers determined the driver, 25-year-old Joshua D. Allen of Augusta, Maine, gave them probable cause to search the vehicle and its occupants.
During the search, police say they discovered a syringe containing heroin, a glass smoking device with burnt crack residue, about 194 grams of ketamine, and 19.78 grams of marijuana.
