New details have surfaced in the case of a father accused of starving his 5-year-old daughter to death at a home in the region. Police were called to a Schenectady residence on Elmer Avenue near Poplar Street at around 3 a.m. Sunday, April 14, for a young girl who was unconscious and not breathing. Medics pronounced the girl dead a short time later. Teen At Facility In Westchester One Of Two Juveniles Charged For Fatal Crash
Two teens have been arrested for their involvement in a 2021 crash on the Southern State Parkway that killed a Long Island man last summer. The names of the two were not released by Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney due to their statuses as minors. The crash happened Monday, July 12, 2021 in North Babylon. Teenage Suspect In Fatal Rockland Shooting To Appear In Court
A teenage suspect is due in court to answer charges in a fatal shooting in Nyack that the Rockland County District Attorney called “senseless.” Valley Cottage resident Collyer Goodman, 18, was apprehended by Orangetown Police investigators on Sunday, Aug. 23 after he allegedly shot and killed Country Club Hills, Illinois resident Darien Brydie, 21, outside a Nyack apartment complex. Man Charged With Vehicular Homicide, DWI, Reckless Driving For July 1 Hudson Valley Crash
A 29-year-old man who was driving drunk and recklessly has been charged in connection with a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred a month ago in the area, state police said. Ryan B. Williams of Poughkeepsie was arrested as a result of an investigation into the crash on July 1 on Route 299 in the town of Lloyd in Ulster County.
