Driver Hospitalized After Car Snaps Poles In Hudson Valley A driver was taken to a hospital following a crash in Northern Westchester that left two utility poles snapped.  The crash happened on Friday, Oct. 4 just before 8:30 p.m., when a vehicle hit two poles on Route 133 in Mount Kisco near the intersection with Crow Hill Road, according to Independent Fire Co. #13 of the Mount Kisco Fire Department.  Arriving first responders found that the crash had knocked over two poles, leaving wires dangerously close to the roadway.  The driver was soon taken to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla by the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Co…

Rock Slide Ties Up Traffic For Second Time In A Week On Saw Mill River Parkway The second rock slide in a week temporarily tied up rush hour traffic on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Westchester. The New York State Department of Transportation responded to a stretch of the parkway in Mount Kisco at approximately 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, when there was a report of a rock slide that left debris in the right lanes southbound between Kisco Avenue and Route 133.
