Man Airlifted To Westchester Medical Center After Fire Breaks Out While Working In Garage A man was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center and his wife also suffered burns after a fire broke out in a garage in Stony Point on Saturday morning, Jan. 26. At approximately 9:45 a.m., police received a 911 call from a Charles Court resident reporting a man was on fire. Police responded to find an elderly couple had sustained burns.  The man was working on machinery in his detached garage and his wife became aware, called 911 and was burned trying to put out the fire, Stony Point Police said.
