11 Charged In Takedown Of Major Area Heroin Trafficking Ring A large dent was made in the heroin trade in Rockland County with the takedown of 11 people, including several who acted as major dealers. Acting Rockland County District Attorney Kevin Gilleece announced during a press conference on Thursday, Feb. 28, that the 11 arrested were part of a large-scale heroin trafficking operation based in the Town of Haverstraw.
