Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Young Child For Years A Hudson Valley man has been remanded to jail in connection with an ongoing sexual abuse investigation. Dutchess County resident Michael Tyndale, age 52, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 19, in Poughkeepsie. According to Poughkeepsie Police, Tyndale allegedly sexually abused a victim beginning at the age of 10 for four years. Tyndale was charged with predatory sexual assault and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail. The investigation continues. Sullivan County resident Lavaun Weir, age 31, of Monticello, was arrested on Thursday, July 13, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Orange County resident John Olson, age 59, of the town of Warwick, was charged while incarcerated at the Delaware County Jail. An exact date of his arrest was not provided. 21-Year-Old From Hudson Valley Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Child A Hudson Valley man has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child under 11. Orange County resident Cormega Berkley, age 21, was arrested on Monday, April 4, in Newburgh by New York State Police. Berkley, of the city of Newburgh, was arrested after allegations arose about his allegedly having sexually assaulted the child, said Trooper Steven Nevel. A joint investigation by the Orange County Child Abuse Unit led to Berkley's arrest, Nevel said. He was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child and remanded to the Orange County Jail.
