$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley, Including $50K Winner In Westchester
Whoopie, a lucky Hudson Valley player took home $1 million after matching all five numbers in the Powerball game.
The second-prize winning ticket matched the winning numbers 7-11-19-53-68 but not the Powerball of 23, for the Monday, March 25 game, said the New York Lottery.
The ticket was sold at the Smokes 4 Less store on Plank Road in Newburgh, lottery officials said.
There was also one third-prize-winning ticket sold in Westchester County in Ardsley. The winner, who matched four numbers plus the Powerball, took home $50,000, lottery officials added.

Christmas came early for this lucky New York Lottery winner.
Northern Westchester County resident William Ciringione, of of Yorktown Heights, won big when he claimed his scratch-off prize, lottery officials announced on Thursday, Dec. 21.
The massive $5 million prize, which he won on the Cash X100 scratch-off game, was sold at the 7-Eleven, located at 1949 Commerce St. in Yorktown Heights.
Ciringione took his prize as a lump sum, totaling $3,255,000 after the required withholdings.

While no one from New York took home the mega Powerball prize of $1 billion, three people in the region won a total of $1,150,000 in second- and third-prize winnings, with a million-dollar winning ticket sold in Westchester County.
New York Lottery officials made the announcement early Thursday, July 20, saying three players managed to pocket $1.150 million for the Wednesday, July 19 game.
