Northern Westchester Man Struck, Killed On Shoulder Of Garden State Parkway
A 50-year-old man from Northern Westchester was killed when he was struck by an SUV in New Jersey on the shoulder of the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County, authorities said.
Daniel Cintron, of Ossining, was pronounced dead at the crash scene where he had been standing next to a disabled vehicle, New Jersey State Police said.
A second pedestrian, also standing outside of the vehicle, suffered moderate injuries when the crash occurred about 11:15 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 5. He was identified by state police as Frank Puglisi, 21, of Staten Island.

Feds: Trio Stole $1.5M Worth Of High-End Vehicles Out Of NJ, Rockland, CT, Long Island
A trio of thieves who snatched high-end vehicles in New Jersey, Rockland County, Long Island and Connecticut often used one stolen car to swipe another, federal authorities said.
In one instance, they said, the Essex County crew members stole a Maserati GranTurisimo at the Jersey Shore and drove it to New City in Rockland, where they took a Range Rover and a Porsche.
A predawn police pursuit followed before the Maserati driver hit the gas and slammed it head-on into a police vehicle, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said.
The suspects fled in another vehicle, he said.

Man Arrested On Thruway For Fleeing Police In Stolen Car, Police Say
A 33-year-old man who allegedly fled from state troopers on the Thruway was nabbed for driving a stolen vehicle.
John C. Johnson, 33, of Paterson, New Jersey, was arrested around 10 a.m., Thursday, March 5, after troopers received a report of a vehicle pursuit entering the state from New Jersey, involving a stolen vehicle, said New York State Police.
Troopers attempted to stop the vehicle on I-87 in the town of Tuxedo. While attempting to avoid police, Johnson's vehicle struck the guide rail sustaining heavy damage and continued for a short time before driving off the road.

Man Sentenced To Prison After Installing Hidden Camera In Area Woman's Bathroom
A 48-year-old man has been sentenced to one to three years in prison for spying on an area woman by installing a hidden camera in her bathroom.
Joseph Krenicky, 48, of Glenwood, New Jersey, was sentenced, Tuesday, Feb. 18, for the incident that took place in the Town of Chester, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.
At the time Krenicky pleaded guilty he admitted that in August 2019, he was hired by the woman to perform electrical work at her home.
