Hudson Valley Resident Co-Produced Oscar Favorite For Picture Of Year
With the Oscars airing this weekend few people have focused on part-time Hudson Valley resident and Vassar alumnus Jon Read who co-produced this year's favorite film.
Read, who doesn't divulge where he lives in the Hudson Valley, was the co-producer and production supervisor of "Everything Everywhere All at Once," according to Laurent Rejto, of the Hudson Valley Film Commission.
The film has been nominated for 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and many others.

Once planned to premiere in April, a much-anticipated HBO series filmed in the Hudson Valley staring Mark Ruffalo has been moved back a couple of weeks.
According to HBO, the series' first episode of, "I Know This Much Is True" will premiere on HBO at 9 p.m., Sunday, May 10.
Based on the book by author Wally Lamb, the series tells the story of identical twins, played by Ruffalo, and follows the trials, betrayals, and ultimately, the forgiveness, in their lives.

Mark Ruffalo HBO Series To Film In Area This Week
A quiet area neighborhood will soon have a lot more visitors, including Mark Ruffalo fans, when HBO begins filming its latest mini-series “I Know This Much is True," this week in Dutchess County.
The area includes a residence on Delafield Street in Poughkeepsie and will also affect Talmadge, and Hoffman streets, along with Verrazano Boulevard and Bain Avenue. The crew will be on set around 10 p.m. Monday, April 15, and work through Tuesday, April 16, and Wednesday, April 17.
