Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Murdering Woman, Dismembering Her Body, Police Say
A man from the region has been charged with allegedly killing a woman and then dismembering her body before disposing of the parts.
Ulster County resident Damon Foy, age 50, of Kerhonkson, was arraigned in Ulster County Court on Friday, April 19, for a murder charge and remanded to Ulster County Jail without bail.
According to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, between Sunday, March 31, and Monday, April 1, Foy murdered Alberta Dale, age 44, of Pennsylvania, dismembered her and was in the process of disposing of her body when law enforcement intervened.

Couple Accused Of Hitting Woman In Face, State Police Say
A couple who allegedly hit a woman in the face and head during an argument and then stole her cell phone were arrested for third-degree assault.
The incident took place on Thursday, May 7, in Ulster County, when New York State Police responded to a home in Accord after receiving a 911 call from the victim, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
Once on the scene, the victim told troopers Richard Ronda, age 41, and Julie Ronda, age 36, both from Accord, had come to her home to confront her over a previous incident.

Man Nabbed For Breaking Window At Area Home, Possession of Drugs, Police Say
An Ulster County man was arrested following a disturbance at a home and smashing out a window, police said.
Kevin A. Schoonmaker, 32, of Kerhonkson, was arrested around 3 p.m., Friday, Dec. 13, after the Ulster County Sheriff's Office responded to a disturbance call on Samsonville Road in Kerhonkson, said Det. Lt. Abram Markiewicz.
When deputies arrived on the scene they found that Schoonmaker had fled the scene, but was apprehended a short time after, Markiewicz said.

Anthony Milea Of White Plains Dies At 27
Anthony F. Milea of White Plains died on Monday, March 5. He was 27 years old.
He leaves behind his parents, Andrea and Robert; his sister Kristen; and his love, Caily. Anthony is also survived by his grandmother, Noreen Milea, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Growing up, Anthony was always an energetic child who lit up the room.
