Westchester Investment Adviser Charged With Stealing $700K From Church Members A financial adviser from Westchester is facing charges for allegedly defrauding members of a religious group he belongs to out of hundreds of thousands of dollars, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced. This week, the SEC announced it is charging Evarist Amah, of New Rochelle, for his role in a years-long scheme to defraud members of the Grail Movement while operating the financial firm EAC Capital, which dissolved last summer.
