Hudson Valley Man Attacks Train Conductor, Fracturing Jaw, Police Say
A Hudson Valley man has been charged with assault for allegedly attacking a train conductor, seriously injuring him and fracturing his jaw.
The incident took place in Orange County in the City of Port Jervis on Thursday, Sept. 7.
According to Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden, Damarion D. Gulley, age 22, hometown unknown, of Rockland County, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 18, for the crime that took place on an MTA platform in Port Jervis.

Two men have been charged in connection with a broad daylight double shooting that left one victim dead and another paralyzed in the Hudson Valley, officials said.
Brooklyn residents Dwayne Hines, age 39, and Romaine McRae, age 39, were both arrested on Wednesday, July 12 on murder charges in connection with an Orange County double shooting that happened on Monday, April 24 in Newburgh, Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler announced on Friday, July 14.

Suspect Nabbed In Attempted Robbery At Bank Of America Branch In Hudson Valley
A man wanted in connection with an attempted Hudson Valley bank robbery was nabbed by police.
Orange County resident Basil Martusevich, age 56, of the town of Newburgh, was caught around 10:45 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4.
The attempted robbery took place in the town of Newburgh around 5 p.m. Friday at the Bank of America, located at 1414 Route 300, said Lt. Peter Talarico.
During the attempted robbery, Martusevich threatened a teller with a gun and then fled the scene, Talarico said.
Through interviews and an investigation, Martusevich was identified as a suspect, he added.

Man Nabbed In Connection With Two Armed Robberies In Area, Police Say
A man wanted for two armed robberies has been arrested.
Orange County resident Mark E. Jones, 62, of Newburgh, was arrested on Thursday, July 2, by the Town of Newburgh Police Department for the alleged robberies which occurred earlier this year, said Lt. James Nenni.
The first one took place on Sunday, March 1, at the Gidney Ave. Sunoco, Ninni said.
During the robbery, Jones allegedly entered the store and threatened the attendant with a knife while demanding cash, police said at the time.
