Area Man Sentenced For Cyberstalking Former College Classmate For 18 Months A 25-year-old man was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to cyberstalking a woman to the point that she was afraid to leave her home alone. Kristian James O’Hara, of Bardonia, was sentenced Friday, Jan. 10, following his guilty plea in April of 2019, said Delaware U.S. Attorney David C. Weiss. Wanted Spring Valley Man Nabbed In New Jersey A 31-year-old Rockland man was arrested on an outstanding warrant after a traffic stop in New Jersey, authorities said Friday. Mario McIntyre of Spring Valley was stopped by police in Fair Lawn, NJ, before dawn on March 14 because of a defective problem with his lights, authorities said. A computer check turned up a warrant out of the Passaic County, NJ town of Hawthorne, Fair Lawn Sgt. Brian Metzler said. McIntyre was issued a summons for improper maintenance of vehicle lamps and released after posting bail on the outstanding warrant, the sergeant said.

The Hawthorne, N.J. teen said he and a friend were driving off-road near the Hillburn border when the vehicle entered the river around 11 p.m., Suffern police said. Police found the vehicle in heavy rapids and several feet of water, they said.
