Car Flips On Roof In Hudson Valley Crash
A car overturned following a crash on a road in the region. The incident happened just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Northern Westchester when the car flipped on the eastern half of Colabaugh Pond Road in Croton-on-Hudson, according to the village's fire department. Arriving first responders found that the driver had managed to escape the vehicle on his own. The driver later declined a trip to the hospital after being evaluated. A man on an outing with his family at Harriman State Park drowned after jumping into the lake and swimming about 100 feet away. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 18, at Lake Sebago in Stony Point. A 19-year-old Hudson Valley man died after being found unresponsisve in a home pool. The incident occurred in Orange County around 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15 on Meadow Streeet in the town of Newburgh. According to Lt. A Hudson Valley woman was killed during a head-on crash when she allegedly veered into the oncoming traffic lane, according to Clarkstown Police. The collision occurred in Rockland County around 3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 10, at North Highland Avenue and Fairview Avenue in Upper Nyack. According to Det. Driver Injured After Car Overturns On Hudson Valley Roadway
A driver was hospitalized following a rollover crash on a busy Hudson Valley road. The crash happened in Putnam County on Monday afternoon, July 22, when an Acura flipped on Milltown Road in the village of Brewster near the Connecticut border, according to the Brewster Fire Department. A man died after he was found unresponsive in waters near a Hudson Valley beach, police announced.
