Man Caught Snorting Cocaine In Car In Hudson Valley: Police
A 32-year-old Connecticut man was apprehended after authorities caught him snorting cocaine inside a vehicle in the Hudson Valley, police announced. The arrest was made on Monday, Aug. 26 just before 3 p.m., when a man was seen snorting a white powdered substance while sitting in the driver's seat of a car in the Putnam County town of Southeast, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office said on Monday, Sept. 30. Three Killed In Connecticut Crash
Three people were killed in a morning crash in Connecticut. It happened around 6:30 a.m. in New Haven County in Branford on Thursday, April 28 on Hosley Avenue. Preliminary findings of the investigation indicate that the operator failed to negotiate a curve in the road while traveling at an excessive speed, Branford Police said. Tornado touchdowns were confirmed in both the Hudson Valley and Connecticut during severe storm activity in the region on Thursday, Aug. 27. The National Weather Service made the determinations late Friday night, Aug. 28 after surveying damage during the day.
