Volunteer Fireman In Westchester Dies At Age 36
A volunteer firefighter from Westchester County has died at the age of 36. Christopher Colasacco died on Wednesday, Jan. 19, according to his obituary. He was a graduate of Harrison High School and worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Harrison. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the Harrison Fire Department, the Valhalla Fire Department and the West Harrison Fire Department, his obituary reads. Actor and comedian Bob Saget was found dead in a hotel room in Florida. He was 65. The sheriff's office in Orange County, Florida confirmed the news on Sunday, Jan. 9. In 1987, Saget was cast as Danny Tanner in the hit TV series "Full House." Two years later, he landed the role as host of "America's Funniest Home Videos."

Man Killed By Falling Tree In Northern Westchester
A man has died after a tree fell on him while he was working in Northern Westchester. The unidentified 61-year-old was killed around 9 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 14, on Farm Walk Road in Yorktown, police said. When officers and EMS arrived on the scene, they found the man in the backyard of the resident, unconscious not breathing after the tree fell on top of him, according to the Yorktown Police. A missing college student from Massachusetts who had been missing following a night with friends has been found dead. The Durham Police Department in New Hampshire reported the body of Plymouth County resident Vincenzo "Vinny" Lirosi, age 22, of Whitman, Massachusetts, was found in a marshy area off of Coe Drive at about 1:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5, by a New England Search and Rescue K-9 team. A young firefighter died after a blaze broke out at his home in Westchester County on Thanksgiving morning. Sean Carroll was 26 years old. The fire began in the basement of the Carroll home in Thornwood in the early hours of Thursday, Nov. 25, according to authorities. Fairfield County's Peter Buck, who became a billionaire after making a small investment in the sandwich shop that later became Subway, has died. Memorial services have been scheduled to honor the life of a Westchester County man who died after a powerful Nor'easter rolled in while he was kayaking on the Long Island Sound.
