Woman Dies After Crashing Car Into River In Northern Westchester A local woman who drove her car into a river in the area has died from her injuries. Northern Westchester resident Marcia Villa, age 48, of Ossining, died late Wednesday, April 13, said Kieran O'Leary of the Westchester County Police. Woman Critical After Car Crashes Into River In Northern Westchester A woman is in critical condition after a vehicle she was in drove into a river in the area. The incident took place in Northern Westchester County in Croton-on-Hudson around 11 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, officials said. Two Public Works Employees Rescued After Boat Overturns In Croton River Two Croton Public Works employees were rescued by members from the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department after being stranded in the Croton River. The rescue took place a little after 9 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, when the department was notified of an overturned boat with two people in the water near the Croton River's Silver Lake Park, said the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department.
