Covid-19: Hudson Valley Sees 663 New Cases, Uptick In Testing Rate; Latest County Totals
The Hudson Valley saw an uptick in the positivity rate for COVID-19 testing as well as 663 new cases, according to newly released data on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
Here are positivity testing rates for the last three days in the Hudson Valley:
Sunday, Nov. 8: 3.7 percent
Monday, Nov. 9: 3.6 percent
Tuesday, Nov. 10: 3.7 percent

The Hudson Valley saw an uptick in both cases and the positivity rate for COVID-19 testing, according to newly released data on Thursday, Oct. 8.
A new state record 145,811 COVID-19 diagnostic tests were conducted statewide on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
In the top 20 ZIP codes in areas that have seen recent outbreaks - Brooklyn and Queens, and Rockland and Orange counties - 7,349 tests were conducted, yielding 426 positives or a 5.8 percent positivity rate.
In the remainder of the state, 138,462 tests were conducted yielding 1,410 positives or a 1.01 percent positivity rate.

In the top 20 ZIP codes in areas that have seen recent outbreaks - Brooklyn and Queens and Rockland and Orange counties - 5,222 tests were conducted on Monday, Oct. 5, yielding 291 positives or a 5.5 percent positivity rate.
In the remainder of the state, 91,137 tests were conducted yielding 1,102 positives or a 1.20 percent positivity rate.

There was an uptick in the positivity rate for COVID-19 testing in the Hudson Valley, according to newly released data on Sunday, Sept. 13.
Of a total of 72,668 test results reported on Saturday, Sept. 12 to New York State, 725, or 0.99 percent, were positive.

Thursday, Sept. 10: 1.2 percent
Friday, Sept. 11: 0.9 percent

Covid-19: New Antibody Test Results Released For Hudson Valley For First Time In Six Weeks
With New York continuing to ramp up novel coronavirus (COVID-19) testing, it was determined that in the past six weeks, the number of patients testing positive for the virus’ antibodies has slightly increased.
New York State surveyed more than 12,000 people between Friday, May 1, and Saturday, June 13, for antibodies, which found that 13.4 percent of those tested are now testing positive for COVID-19 antibodies, up 1.1 percent from the beginning of the tests.
In the Hudson Valley, 9 percent of those tested as of May 1 tested positive, which jumped slightly to 9.5 percent as of June 13.
