17 Hauls Of Waste Illegally Dumped By I-95, I-287 In Westchester: Suspect At Large, Police Say
Police are searching for whoever was responsible for illegally dumping numerous hauls of construction waste along highways in Westchester. The waste was discovered along Interstate 95 and Interstate 287 in the City of Rye on multiple days, including Thursday, Jan. 5; Tuesday, Jan. 24; and Saturday, March 18, according to state police. Parking Tickets Lead To Seizure Of Illegal Gun, Forged Documents In Westchester
An excessive amount of parking tickets led to the arrest of a wanted man in Westchester who was busted with forged documents and an illegal handgun after his car was impounded, police announced. On Thursday, Jan. 6, detectives from the New Rochelle Police Department were notified that a handgun was found in a vehicle that was impounded due to outstanding parking violations. Citing a desire to improve air quality statewide, the Hudson Valley will receive $24.2 million in new funding for three projects that will support bicycle and pedestrian transportation. New York Gov. Woman Killed In Overnight Motorcycle Crash On I-287 In Westchester
A 22-year-old motorcyclist from Fairfield County was killed in an overnight crash on I-287 in Westchester.At approximately 1:16 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, state police were dispatched to investigate a serious injury motorcycle accident on I-287, eastbound in the City of Rye. The investigation at the scene revealed that Damariz D. Rosales-Beltran of Stamford was traveling eastbound on her motorcycle on I-287, in the City of Rye.
