German Shepherd Quarantined After Getting Loose, Biting Man In Scarsdale
A German Shepherd will be detained for several days after it got loose from its Scarsdale home and bit a local resident who was passing by over the weekend. Officers from the Scarsdale Police Department responded to a Walworth Avenue residence on Saturday night, where there was a report of a local homeowner who alerted police that he was walking in the area of Huntington Avenue and Brewster Road at approximately 6:45 p.m. when he was approached by a large black dog that ran at him and circled around him.
