But because Wednesday's meeting was a Section 1 Tournament qualifying game, the two teams played two Golden Goal overtimes before going to penalty kicks, where Nyack prevailed, 5-4.

The No. 20 Indians, who hadn't won a game since Sept. 9, improved to 3-11-3. Nanuet, the 13th seed, ended its season at 7-8-2.

Eslam Ellisy gave Nyack a 1-0 lead in the first half, before Nanuet's Daniel Torres tied the game, assisted by Nick Iozzo.

Nyack junior keeper Karl McGinnis (eight saves) made a save on Nanuet's final PK attempt to preserve the victory.
