Clarkstown School Bond Proposal Will Not Increase Taxes, District Says

NEW CITY, N.Y. -- The Clarkstown Central School District reported good news from the Facilities Improvement Committee.

The major areas of concern have been roofs, boilers, and electrical systems. Once the school district applies state aid, the bond can be paid for with funds already in the budget. No increase in the budget or community taxes would be necessary. The impact of this bond would be budget neutral, the district said.
