Race For Clarkstown Town Supervisor Costs Almost $1 Million

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- This month's race for Clarkstown town supervisor was the most expensive town election in Rockland County's history, nearing $1 million, according to a story on lohud.com.

The spending broke previous records. It put Clarkstown, with a population of 85,000, in the same league as Albany races for statewide office, lohud.com said.
