Two Charged With Selling Counterfeit Merchandise At Nyack Street Fair

Two street vendors were caught selling counterfeit goods at the Nyack Street Fair on Sunday, according to Orangetown Police.

Ross Biernick, 50, of Poughquag, and Bencilla Powell, 60, of Hillside, N.J., were charged with trademark counterfeiting after officers observed them selling the fake goods, police said.

Biernick was caught on Main Street displaying and selling counterfeit products with the Michael Kors and Otterbox trademarks, police said. 

Powell was caught selling counterfeit Michael Kors products on Broadway, police said.

Both were arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were charged and released on bail. They are due to appear in court on May 2.
