Teens Charged With Stealing $1.2K In Clothes At Palisades Center

CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. -- Clarkstown Police arrested two people for shoplifting clothes at the Lord & Taylor store in the Palisades Mall in West Nyack on Tuesday, March 15.

Clarkstown police arrested Angela Himmelberg, and Alaina White in the theft of more than $1,000 worth of clothes from the Lord and Taylor store at the Palisades Center Mall.

According to police, Angela Himmelberg, 19, of Mount Airy, Md., and Alaina White, 18, of Wixon, Mich., were reportedly observed by loss prevention employees taking merchandise valued at $1,210. The merchandise was found at the scene.

The two women were arrested and transported to police headquarters and charged with felony fourth-degree grand larceny and felony fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.

Both women are currently awaiting arraignment in Clarkstown Justice Court.
