Sparkill Man Charged With Assaulting Woman

SPARKILL, N.Y. -- A Sparkill man is facing charges after he attacked a woman during a domestic dispute Sunday, Orangetown police said.

Baby C. Thomas, 60, was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, in connection with the attack, police said.

The unidentified victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Thomas was arraigned in Orangetown Court and is to appear there on Monday, June 13, to answer the charges, police said.
