Rockland Man Among Nine Charged In Anti-Prostitution Detail

A Spring Valley man was among nine Hudson Valley residents arrested as part of an anti-prostitution detail in the Town of Wallkill on Wednesday, May 4.

Luis F. Ruedas-Cruz, age 22, was charged after making contact with a female undercover state trooper and requesting she perform a sex act in exchange for money, according to state police.

Also facing charges are the following: Jhon D. Ortega-Guaman, 33, of Middletown; Adolph A. Pantore, 56, of Bloomingburg; Drew A. Kartiganer, 58, of Newburgh; Jermaine D. Barnaby, 32, of Middletown; Travis Contreras, 23, of Middletown; Jofre A. Angamarca, 24, of Middletown; Caleb R. Elizando, 20; of Middletown; and Keith Ferguson, 50, of Port Jervis. 

All were charged with one count of patronizing a prostitute in the third degree. Ferguson was also charged with resisting arrest. 

All were issued appearance tickets to appear in Town of Wallkill Court on May 17.
