He was born in Brooklyn, the son of Anthony and Julia (Caffetzakis) Eleftherion.
William is survived by his brothers James (Nancy) and George; and his nieces and nephews Caitlin, Anthony James, Melissa, Anthony George, James, and Justin.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a visitation on Wednesday, Dec. 27 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Danbury,. The funeral mass will follow at 11 a.m. with interment at Union Valley Cemetery in Mahopac.
