NANUET, N.Y. – Joseph Piscino, a longtime resident of Nanuet, died Nov. 23. He was 80.
Piscino was born Dec. 9, 1934, in Manhattan to Dominick and Mildred (nee Giraldi) Piscino.
After serving in the U.S. Army, he worked for daily newspapers in New York City.
Piscino was predeceased by his parents, daughter Donna Marie Keosky, sister Annette Mastellini, and three brothers, Peter, Dominick and Frank.
He is survived by his wife Beatrice (nee Filosa), son Joseph Jr., son-in-law Kenneth Keosky, two grandsons, sister Roseann Tredici and her husband Frank of Staten Island, three brothers, Alfred and his wife Patricia of Manalapan, N.J., Mario and his wife Terry of Howard Beach, and William of Brooklyn, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be on from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Joseph W. Sorce Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Church, 36 W. Nyack Road, Nanuet.
Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
