Marie Brevil, 35, a case worker with the Department of Social Services since 2007, filed a civil rights lawsuit seeking $4.5 million, lohud.com reported.

Among her allegations are that a co-worker chest-bumped her while screaming and cursing and that she has been slapped for speaking French Creole and also for covering her hair because of her religious beliefs, the lohud.com article said.

The county told lohud.com that it 30 days to respond to Brevil’s 31-page complaint.
