Rockland Welcomes Coupé Theatre Studio To Nanuet

NANUET, N.Y. -- Coupé Theatre Studio recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of its new location in Nanuet.

"Small business is the lifeblood of the economy in Rockland County," said Rockland County Executive Ed Day. "I thank Diane Frankel for working with the Nanuet and New City Chambers of Commerce to further expand Coupé and its contribution to the arts and culture in our community."

Legislator Harriet Cornell, Clarkstown Supervisor-elect George Hoehmann and other officials joined Day in celebrating the opening of the 430 Market St. location.

Frankel opened a dance studio in her home basement 45 years ago. SInce then, Coupé has evolved into a premier school for dance, acting and voice performance in Rockland County.
