Rockland Welcomes 100 New Citizens At Naturalization Ceremony

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. – Rockland County Clerk Paul Piperato led the last naturalization ceremony for 2015 on Friday morning at the County Fire Training Center in Pomona.

One-hundred immigrants from 32 countries took part in the ceremony, which featured an Oath of Allegiance and an appearance from County Executive Ed Day, who congratulated them on their citizenship.

"These new citizens are united by a common thread: a deep love for this country; and an abiding faith in the American system of government,” said Day.
