- Clarkstown Police Detective Frederick J. Parent died Tuesday following a brief illness. He was 52.
- Ted Meserole, a White Plains native and former chief of the Nanuet Fire Engine Company, died on Saturday, Nov. 11, in Youngsville, N.C. He was 79.
