More than 100 people took part in a mock drill Tuesday at the Fire Training Center in Pomona.
The drill was led by Nicholas A. Longo, Jr., program coordinator at Rockland Fire and Emergency Services.
Longo regularly updates County Executive Ed Day on issues concerning Rockland’s disaster preparedness.
Day took part in the exercise.
According to a post on its Facebook page, the county said it hopes that “those workers never have to put their practice to the test.”
But, it added,”if a real emergency ever occurs, Rockland is prepared.”
