ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Rockland Department of Health is offering free products to keep away mosquitoes, according to a report by lohud.com.

Mosquito dunks can be placed inside pools to kill larval mosquitoes in water before they can become adults, reported lohud.com. 

Mosquito dunks are available at the Health Department at 50 Sanatorium Road in Ramapo from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. weekdays, said lohud.com.

A woman from Rockland was diagnosed in February with the Zika virus, which is primarily spread through mosquitoes, reported lohud.com.
