Rockland County Drug Court Gets Grant To Treat DWI Offenders

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. – The U.S. Justice Department has awarded a $200,000 grant to the Rockland County Drug Court, lohud.com reported.

The drug court provides treatment instead of prison time to drug users who plead guilty to nonviolent crimes. 

The grant allows the court to provide treatment for drivers who plead guilty to misdemeanor DWI offenses, lohud reported.
