Power Outages, Crash With Downed Tree In Rockland As Storms Roll Through

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- More than 200 Rockland households are without power late Thursday as a round of severe storms rolled through the area.

Orange & Rockland is reporting at 10 p.m. that 250 customers, mainly in New City, were without power.

Power is expected to be restored by 3 a.m., Orange & Rockland County said.

A crash involving a car hitting a downed tree was reported just before 10 p.m. at Ridge Road in New City.
