The dark-colored vehicle involved in this incident is a 2015 Mercedes Benz SUV that was taken into police custody for processing.

The investigation is ongoing.

There is no update on the condition of the victim., a 40--year-old New City man who was crossing the intersection near Third Street around 10:30 p.m. He He was transported to Nyack ER for medical attention and suffered extensive injuries.
