Paving Work To Close Three Lanes Of Tappan Zee Bridge

Drivers should be prepared for lane closures on the Tappan Zee Bridge Friday night until early Saturday morning for overnight paving work.

The closures, which will be staggered, beginning at 7 p.m. with the left southbound/eastbound lane closure, followed by the closure of the second left lane at 8 p.m. All three left-side southbound/eastbound lanes will be closed by midnight, according to the Thruway Authority.

The lanes will remain closed until 6 a.m. Saturday.

Closures will run from Exit 10 (Nyack – South Nyack – US Route 9W) to Exit 9, Thruway Authority officials said.
