Hi-Tor Animal Care Introduces Ruby

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Hi-Tor's Pet of the Week is Ruby, a four-year-old female shepherd mix who was surrendered to the shelter because her owners were moving and could not take her.

Ruby should be the only pet in the house. She is good with kids but tends to be a bit on the needy side so she would do best in a home where someone might be home all day, or most of the day with her. Ruby is very sweet and is housebroken and knows basic obedience.
