- A former NYPD detective and 9/11 first responder who works as a security guard for the Clarkstown Central School District, is suing the district after he says he was retaliated against for reporting another security guard for having unwanted sexual contact with a student and another employee.
- A 48-year-old Rockland woman became violent and fought with police, striking one officer in the face, as she was in the process of being arrested Wednesday for disorderly conduct, according to Stony Point Police.

- Lawyers for Judith Clark, the getaway driver in the 1981 Brink's robbery and shootout that claimed the lives of two Nyack police officers and an armed guard, are appealing the state's parole board denial of her bid for early release in April.
