According to Clarkstown Supervisor George Hoehman, as of 1 p.m. Thursday, 9,000 people are without power in Clarkstown and 14,400 in Rockland County.
In addition, Orange and Rockland are reporting that some of the outages made last throughout the weekend, Hoehman said.
"We remind residents to stay clear of downed wires and to continue to report outages directly to O&R," he said.

To help, all Clarkstown recreation community centers will remain open until 10 p.m. for residents to go and keep warm and charge electronics. Congers Community Center will remain open all night. Please call the centers before arrival to confirm.

- Laurel Road and Route 304
