The automotive center, which is also receiving support from Snap-on Tools, was founded with a grant from the Herbert Kurz Foundation and will provide students at RCC with "state-of-the-art equipment to master the skills needed to service today's high-tech vehicles."

According to a statement from the county government, the center is "a great example of academia, business and government all working together to benefit the community and prepare Rockland residents for well-paying jobs."
