A serious accident and subsequent investigation resulted in the closure of one lane on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in Pomona for most of the morning commute Monday.
The accident, reported at 6:15 a.m., occurred on the southbound side at Exit 13 (Route 202) with stop-and-go traffic backed up to Exit 14 (Willow Grove Road).
The lane reopened by 8:30 a.m.
